LEGAL SYNCHRONIZATION OF SHARIA BANKING SUPERVISION ARRANGEMENTS IN INDONESIA

The development of banking supervision arrangements undergoes frequent changes due to various factors such as political conditions and socio-economic situations. Initially, bank was under the purview Bank Indonesia (BI), but it later shifted Financial Services Authority (OJK). However, this change in regulatory framework has resulted legal uncertainties regulation Sharia banking, which contradicts principles, theory, rule law. Consequently, led issues within Indonesian system. This research employs a normative method utilizing primary, secondary, tertiary sources. Legal materials were collected through document literature studies, they subsequently analyzed descriptively. Additionally, interpretation methods used construct prescriptions draw deductive conclusions. findings study indicate that synchronization Islamic system entails external being carried out by OJK. internal is overseen Board Commissioners, with specific falling Supervisory (DPS).
